Printable colouring, games and conversation cards

Colour together. Share a story. Remember.

Colouring with Care is inspired by the experience of caring for a loved one with dementia. It exists to provide resources for people to enjoy the practice of art together, and to encourage the remembering and sharing of memories through the use of conversation prompts.

How the pages are designed

Easy to see, easy to start

High contrast, legible type

Large, clear lettering and strong contrast, so words and prompts are easy to read.

Thick outlines

Bold lines give a clear edge to colour up to, with less fuss and more enjoyment.

Closed shapes

Every area is fully enclosed, so colour stays where it is put and every page feels finished.

British nostalgia

Familiar homes, objects and scenes from decades past, chosen to start a conversation.

Try a conversation prompt

A good question starts a good story

Every pack comes with prompts like these. Press the button for a taster, then ask it while you colour.

Colouring books

Pages to colour, page by page

Thick outlines and closed shapes throughout. Choose a book for children, for adults and older people, or one the whole family can share.

Not just a game of bingo

Picture bingo with conversation prompts, so every call is a chance to remember something together.

Cards

Colour a card, then talk about it

Small, friendly and quick to start. Colour a scene, share it, and let the memories follow.

Questions

Good to know before you buy

What is a printable download?

You buy a file, usually a PDF, and print it yourself on a standard home or office printer. Nothing is posted to you. Physical copies of some products are to come.

What do I need to print them?

An ordinary printer and plain white paper. Thicker paper takes felt tips and pencils better. Print at 100% size, and choose colour printing for the full colour bingo cards.

Who are the products for?

Mainly older people, including people living with dementia, their families and carers. Many also work for mixed-ability groups, special educational needs settings and for generations colouring together.

Can I use them with a group?

For personal and family use, yes. For use across a care home or organisation, please ask about our annual licence.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes. Care homes and other organisations can request an invoice using the contact form.

Will there be printed books and cards?

Some of them, yes. We are working on physical copies of selected products. Use the contact form to ask about a particular one.
